Carl Battreall is one of Alaska's leading outdoor photographers.
He continually straddles the line between adventure, conservation
and fine art photography, frequently producing beautiful
fine art prints for galleries, museums and collectors while
at the same time creating dynamic images for magazines,
stock and environmental causes.
Carl has explored extensively throughout North
America and the Nepal Himalayas. In 2001 he
moved to Alaska and has since, focused on the
exploration and documentation of Alaska"s
unprotected mountains and Glaciers. His
works has recently appeared in such magazines
as: Nature's Best, Outdoor Photographer,
PhotoMedia, Climbing, Alaska, The Art of
Seeing and numerous calendars and catalogs.
